Important Note

6 ml lithium or sodium heparin whole blood tube is required for T-Spot testing, do not centrifuge tubes.

Must be shipped to Quest overnight the same day of draw. Be sure that it is able to arrive at Riverside for shipping by 6 pm.

Do not draw on weekends, holidays or the day before a holiday.

6 ml green sodium heparin whole blood sample stored at room temperature, specimen must be sent to performing lab the same day as collected.

NOTE: Either lithium or sodium heparin tubes are acceptable, as long as they are green tops. Gel tubes will be rejected.

Adults and children ≥10 years: 6 mL • Pediatric 2-9 years: 4 mL • Pediatric <2 years: 2 mL
