Important Note

6 ml lithium or sodium heparin whole blood tube is required for T-Spot testing, do not centrifuge tubes.

Must be shipped to Oxford overnight the same day of draw.   Be sure that it is able to arrive at Riverside for shipping by 6 pm.

Do not draw on weekends, holidays or the day before a holiday.

Specimen Requirements

6 ml green sodium heparin whole blood sample stored at room temperature, specimen must be sent to performing lab the same day as collected.

NOTE: Either lithium or sodium heparin tubes are acceptable, as long as they are green tops.  Even if the tube has a separator towards the bottom, so long as the blood is not spun down the "whole blood" sample is acceptable.
