Useful For
The cobas EBV is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification test for the quantitation of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) DNA in human EDTA plasma on the cobas 6800/8800 Systems. It is intended for use as an aid in the management of EBV in transplant patients as well as assessing response to treatment in EBV infected individuals.

Submission Container/Tube: Plastic vial, screw cap
Specimen Volume: 1.0 mL
Collection Instructions:
1. Centrifuge the specimen within 24 hours of collection.
2. Aliquot plasma into plastic screw-capped vial.
