Methodology
Cell Count and Differential
This test is used for macroscopic and microscopic examination of a body fluid for the detection of a pathologic condition such as malignancy or infection.

Specimen Requirements
Submit 5 mL to 10 mL of body fluid in a screw-capped, plastic container. Do not centrifuge. Forward promptly at ambient temperature only. Do not refrigerate.
