Specimen Requirements

Minimum of 1.0 mL of urine from a random urine collection in a 10 mL BD yellow-top round bottom urine tube or a screw-capped, sterile, plastic urine container. No preservative.

DO NOT SEND THE BLUE CAPPED INTEGRATED TRANSFER DEVISE COLLECTION CONTAINER. THEY OFTEN LEAK AND HAVE A METAL NEEDLE ATTACHED WHICH PRESENTS A SAFETY ISSUE.
