Specimen Requirements
5 mL from a 24-hour urine collection in a screw-capped, plastic urine container. No preservative. Mix well before taking 5-mL aliquot. Refrigerate specimen during collection, and send specimen refrigerated.
Note: 1. Specimen should be collected before fluorescein is administered or 24 hours after.
2. 24-Hour volume is required on request form for processing.
3. Follow instructions in “Urine Collection” in “Special Instructions.”
