Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive within 24 hours of collection.

Collect entire ejaculate (minimum volume:  1 mL) in a clean, dry, glass or plastic container. (Specimen collected in a condom is not acceptable.) 

Note:  

Patient should have 3 days of sexual abstinence (ejaculation) at time of semen collection for accurate results.
